A pack hangs tight
A pack hangs tight.
Sniffing,
growling,
playing,
at what games might come their way.
No top dog shows.
They worry about the closest human scent.
Not near we get.
The pack huddles,
a bark and shudder.
What has raised their concern?
Nothing close to see.
They sense.
There’s more than what appears,
solely to the eye.
