Shots of 2010 Taipei Bike Show
I went hunting Saturday. Hunting for, yet another, bike. ![]()
I got a little bit smarter in looking around this time and visited the biggest display of bicycles available in Taiwan via the 2010 Taipei International Cycle Show.
If you haven’t been to a real bike show before, wow is all that I can really say. There’s all kinds of great biking options and accessories to be worthy of mortgaging the house for.
During the show, I was able to decide what I’m finally going to attempt for my next bike.
- 700c wheelset
- SRAM Rival or Shimano Tiagra or 105 gruppo
- Flat bar with aero extensions
- Stiff sluminum or steel frame
- Build under 9.0 kilograms
With that said, there’s basically two options from amongst the new bikes seen and what I’ve ridden in the past 6 months. Over the next week or two, I’ll be giving in depth looks at the Giant Rapid 0 and a Salsa Casseroll custom build.
Till next time though, Ride Strong!
