Taiwan Rift Valley Riding – Day 1
Sunday afternoon started out with Peichi and I riding from Hualien to Fulin via 193.
For Peichi’s first long ride we rented her a Giant Great Journey touring bike from the Haulian Parkview hotel Giant shop. On the road, we keep to the low traffic, meandering and quite beautiful 193 on the east side of the Rift Valley.

The East Rift Valley’s a great ride. We’ve done it twice, once in each direction, the first time crossing back and forth over the coastal mountain range three times. Really enjoyed it.

Perry, Great to hear from you. My wife and I really liked the East Rift Valley ride along 193. I’m looking forward to doing it again at speed and with crossing the ridges for fun.
Sadly, that’s not my wife’s idea of a good time. Bummer…
