Taiwan Rift Valley Riding – Day 5
At left is a favorite photo of Peichi and I from the recent past. It encompasses what I hold dear most; life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.
Our Thursday morning found us wondering around Jian trying to locate the Chinese breakfast shop that our hostel had given up coupons for. Afterwards, we took a casual ride, read – very slow, through Hualian before heading north along the beautiful coast.
As the afternoon came, we finished up our picnic, rode over the Parkview Hotel, dropped off Peichi’s rental bike and then met up again at the Hualian train station for late train home.
