It’s a mid-life crisis
At some point in life you find yourself wondering around, with no particular direction to go. You could go back in to the familiar, but you’ve left that path as it’s not the place you want to be.
So there you are, somewhere or nowhere, wondering where to step off to next. Often, for me, I know the directions I don’t want to go. Generally those directions that are back or onto that which I know I wouldn’t enjoy or that which I don’t like or something that it’s not right for me to do.
Today, I’m sitting in a Khon Kaen mall food court feeling not lost or purposeless, but not sure at the paths I’m to take to move on. Strangely, I feel like though I’ve had a good life yet, full of adventure stories and such; but the really good stuff is just ahead.
The question though, what’s next? I’m really not sure, but in humor, it’s a mid-life crisis.

2/3/2010 – Then, I knew it finally time to change. Now, I’m much, much happier in life by spending more time with Peichi and friends, studying Chinese, writing about my adventures, doing work I enjoy and believe in and chasing my flights of fancy.
