Life in Germany: Munich Octoberfest 2010
I’ve been to Germany every fall since 2005. During that time, I’ve only attended a few Octoberfest celebrations. This trip, is my favorite.
Traveling with Peichi is Best
Steve, our local family friend via Taiwan, opened up his flat to Peichi and I. Despite the sadness associated with lost luggage two plane transfers back, we didn’t let that stop us heading into Munich.
At Munich’s Octoberfest, I feasted upon some of the best beer, roasted duck, mixed salad and cotton candy I’ve ever had in my life.
Hmm… I guess that’s what I get for living someplace where beer costs 8 times normal, chickens are scrawny and fresh vegetables are spotted by the lack of rot spots.
India’s not that bad, Culture precepts interfere
So without further ado, let’s get to touring the celebration and recalling how good the light, tangy and zesty Octoberfest beer felt going down my throat. It was so good, I’d cry over spilling it.

Did your lost luggage ever catch up with you? Or did you have to replace everything? Your pictures are very good. Am anxious to see the rest of them.

The luggage caught up to us by Saturday at our hotel. Thank you for the photo compliments. More to come on Tuesdays of the following weeks.
