Marydeth
Marydeth woke startled, the light shining brightly into her eyes. Another millennium of failsafe’s gone wrong. Wearily she got to her feet and looked about. The sun was on the opposite horizon now. Yet, she felt that more time than an afternoon had passed.
How right she was to find out later.
