A few days in Vienna, Austria
I’ve passed through Vienna before on my way to Ukraine a few years back. At that time, I didn’t realize how much I would come to like the place. Peichi, our exchange student daughter Vivi and I stayed for four days while exploring much of what Vienna has to offer. Even after all of the wondering around, I still want to go back for now.
I found Vienna to have the nicest mix of stability, chaos and international culture to keep me interested for a good time to come. Better yet, thrift shops are a plenty. I was able to get European shirts and UK science fictions on the cheap. The kepap was Turkish original and eating at a top place where Gore, Putin and other big wigs have dined was under a 100 Euros for 3 including glasses of wine.
When do I get to go back? Oh yeah, there’s plenty of hills to cycle up and mountains to snowboard down.
Where’s Vienna, Austria?
