For Sale: Masi Caffe Racer Doppio flat bar 700c road bike
Update October 2011 – Not for sale anymore. I’m back to riding it as my commuter. City bikes are soo heavy and sluggish. I miss my speed.
Update September 2011 – The bike is in Rosenheim Germany and still for sale, but Peichi is riding it till we get her a local ride.
Update April 2011 – The bike is in Kaohsiung Taiwan now
I’m in Europe, Rome in particular, the Masi is boxed up in Gurgaon, outside Delhi. Alternately, if you can help get the bike and riding kit shipped to me in Europe, that’d be even better than selling. Heck, I’ll even be in the United States during March between Boston and Seattle and I’d be willing to pick up the bike then.

I purchased the Masi from Tima Bikes in Taipei Taiwan this past March for $ 1,000 USD. Bike touring photo attached and build details are below.
Since the initial purchase, I’ve upgraded the wheel set, seat post, saddle and tires. I’ve added on Exustar clip in pedals, Profile T1 aero bars and a Sigma 2209 wireless bicycle computer with heart rate, cadence and altitude sensors. There’s blinker lights front and rear as well as a saddle bag with spare tube, patch kit and tools. Lastly, there’s a Blackburn MasterBlaster air pump mounted with the two water bottle cages.
For when you’re touring, there’s a rear rack with two 26L waterproof panniers to carry all your fast touring needs.
For upkeep, included are hex wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, floor pump, new tubes, patched tubes, spare tire, brake pads, anti-puncture tape, patch kit refills, cleaning tools, mud flaps, CO2 air pump, and a metal bike stand.
For clothing, included are several large cycling shirts and shorts each, wind breaker, Bell helmet with Sigma headlamp and size 45 Diadora carbon fiber sole cycling shoes.
As you can read, I’ve got to sell ALL of my cycling kit and I’d prefer to do it as a whole. I’m asking 60,000 Rs or best offer for the package.
