A monkey chattered to me
hidden in its tree.
A jump over, a jump back,
as if it said you can’t catch me.
With only a glimpse of him that I caught,
I must say,
it’s true his fleet feet were a feat.

6/7/2009 – Just rode 73 kilometers from Hualien to Shihtiping. Along the way we passed noisy, barely visible monkeys hanging around in the roadside trees.
