Scooter at Taipei Port in Bali-八里 (Taiwan, Asia, Taipei port, Bali-八里)

You’d think a scooter was a 4×4

You’d think a scooter was a 4×4,
for all of the places they go.
With just two wheels,
a wide banana seat,
and a whiny 50cc,
fume ejecting engine;
it doesn’t look like much.
Still, with sunny side up
and rubber side down,
the mighty Taiwan scooter takes to city,
country,
trail,
and rough.
Be impressed,
by the family model that’s often seen.
Three children with two adults,
packed between,
riding along with hair free.
The extended family model pulls
a wagon
of grandma and grandpa behind.
My favorite model though,
is the one with
a tall, shorted skirted beauty
that’s smiling at me.
