I’m going riding this weekend: Linkou > Sansia > Luodong > Keelung > Linkou
I’m not around this weekend as I’m going for a ride, a loonnngggg ride.
I’ll be leaving this afternoon from Linkou and heading towards Sansia before getting onto the Northern Cross Highway. From there it’s up into some really tall mountains via a day and a half of solid inclines. A the top, I’ll head down into Yilan County and overnight in Luodong. Monday morning, I’ll then ride up 2 towards a night of beer and karaoke in Keelung. Following this, early Tuesday, I’ll head south via 5 through Taipei then 106 onto the Linkou plateau.
During this 300 kilometer ride, there’s some serious climbing, 6,000 meters worth.
