From 9/22/2003 – Got to keep the family informed on my whereabouts, I don’t do it often enough it seems. They find out about my travels after the photos are posted.

Am you really sure about that question?
The short answer is that I’ve been right where I’ve always been. Right here, where ever I happen to be at the time. Though, in late July I moved from lush green tree Seattle to lush green mold New Orleans. I know that shouldn’t be written down, but heck I wrote it here.
What prompted me to move to New Orleans?
Intercosmos Media Group, Inc. (intercosmos.com) and directNIC (directnic.com) needed an accounting programmer. They’re a great company dealing in Internet business and very welcome to “open source” tool usage. We’ve got Windows, Macintosh, FreeBSD, and Linux users and developers.
How do you like it here?
It’s alright. I’m beginning to do stuff other than work all day. This September I began learning to sail on a 37′ race boat. She’s low slung, sleek, responsive, and fast! I feel confident to act as ballast for crew now.
What’s your plans?
Code, travel, live, learn, help Vikie graduate from school. In a few years I would like to South Korea to attend Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology for my graduate degree in business and technology. Afterwards, I would like to be Intercosmos’s overseas development manager.
Where’s your next vacation going to be?
I’m not saying, my e-mail already follows me around. Even to Russia!
What parting words would you like to give to your family who misses you?
Simply, I love them very much and don’t worry too much, I’m living and enjoying my life fully.
I love seeing your pictures from your travels, so keep traveling as long as you can. One day you will be ready to put down roots, and know that you followed your dreams. Very few people get to do that. Love you.
