I just joined the Taiwan driver’s club as well. I went to the Taipei Motor Vehicle Office Northern Branch near Shilin in Taipei Wednesday afternoon. A blue truck speeds by, only a pause long enough to honk for a scooter to lay aside. Furious the engine whines, not sure which, as they sound the same to me. – 6/7/2009 – In Shihtiping on Taiwan east coast riding 180 kilometers south from Hualien, just commenting on local traffic conditions.
