Our second stop on Costa Fortuna, was the first of four in Greece. This morning’s winner was Katakolon. A small harbor front town, that on the larger scale is the entrance way to Olympus for cruise goers.
Given that Peichi and I aren’t of a follow the flock variant, we took to walking the streets looking for clothes and locally made handicrafts. My first purchase was a lovely homemade brownie.
After 400 meters of storefronts, we walked the beach before getting comfortable again on Costa Fortuna.
Enjoyed seeing the pictures of Greece and look forward to seeing more pictures.
Mykonos is coming tomorrow.
Great photos, and good for you for getting around the surrounding area a bit. There is a lot more to Katakolon than the harbour front! Hope you had (or are still having!) a great trip.
Paul, we’re on the short end of our second 2010 Europe tour. This time principally by WWOOFing from Sicily to Assisi via Attigliano and Orvieto. We hope to get more travels of Greece done in the future as we’d especially like to return to Rhodes, on a bike. Thank you for the encouragement. Ciao!
