If you’re needing character, warmth, good food, an inexpensive cost of living and cheap flights via Ryanair; visit Porto. You’ll not regret it.
If there’s a second home for us, it could be Portugal. For only in Taiwan had we previously met such friendliness and simple enjoyment of daily life.
When we missed our flight back to Germany due to weather, we didn’t mind staying another half-week of sun, shopping and strolling along.
